Maria Tomasso, M.S.

Doctoral Research Assistant & Course Instructor 

Maria is fourth year PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at Texas State University focusing on information management. She has a background in applied mathematics and statistics with interdisciplinary experience in chemistry, public health, and computer vision. 

Currently, Maria works in Dr. Apan Qasem’s Compilers Research Lab (CRL) investigating agent-based models and works with the Translational Health Research Center as an instructor for the the Visualizing Mental Health training.
